Crime no Cais do Valongo

The story of "O Crime do Cais do Malongo" was literally everything my portfolio needed! Not only because I’m forever obsessed w​​​​​​​ith a good old noir novel, but also because it’s the kind of story that forces us to face the horrific past that haunts my country and the Americas (the whole continent, mind you!).

The briefing was all about highlighting the massive Valongo Wharf boardwalk, where most of Eliana Alves Cruz’s book goes down. Since the vibe is incredibly dark and heavy with horror, I decided to turn that boardwalk into a literal sea of blood puddles. I hope you guys dig it, because I’m honestly obsessed with how it turned out!
